Yankee Distillers (“Yankee”) has announced the release of its first batch of hand sanitizer. The first batch is available at its Clifton Park distillery.
Yankee’s hand sanitizer is available in both 16 oz. pump-top bottles for $10 and 64 oz. refill bottles for $35.
Yankee will continue to allow customers to fill any container they bring it for 50 cents per oz. from a sealed tank in the tasting room. For those bringing in their own containers or using Yankee’s refill bottles, consider filling spray bottles as they work great in these containers and it makes it easy to control the amount you’re applying – in addition to use as a surface disinfectant.
The hand sanitizer is an 80 percent ABV Antiseptic Handrub, produced using a formulation consistent with World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. Food and Drug Administration guidance. It’s not a thick gel; it’s thinner, and it disappears quickly as one rubs their hands together without drying them out.

Purchases are limited to 64 oz. per household or one gallon per business for the first batch as Yankee continues to source and produce raw materials for the next batch.
