Happy National Cognac Day!

It’s always a treat to make a cocktail with cognac. So when I heard it was National Cognac Day, I had to make one.

My go to is a French 75. It’s effervescent, bright, flavorful – it’s the perfect bit of luxury while not being too complicated. I love a little bit of bubbly so this makes it super tasty. I made this with my go-to Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal.

1 oz Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal®

½ oz simple syrup 

½ oz lemon juice. 

Shake and strain. Pour into a coupe. Top with champagne
