So when we woke up– we knew we had to pack to go home. We didn’t rush out of bed but we decided to get our last photos down at the beach. We enjoyed the sunshine but it sure was cold.
After we took a stroll to Barn 34 for a delicious brunch — where I had crab stuffed omelet, toast and grits. Yum!
Once the car was packed, we checked out and drove the length of the island to get a feel of everything. The one thing I told Justin we had to do before we headed back was to visit Burley Oak Brewing Company in Burlin, MD, especially having all their delicious brews this weekend.
We got there and I knew I had to buy a few 4 packs of the Hi-deas double IPA. I’ve been dreaming about it since after the beer talk at Ocean Downs Casino. But when we finally sat, we really realized the greatness of the men. We had small tasters since we needed to head back to NY. I had the Blueberry French Toast J.R.E.A.M. and Justin had the Blackberry Cobbler J.R.E.A.M. Both were absolutely amazing. I loved how sweet the Blueberry French Toast. Amazeballs.
I can’t wait to see what else this brewery comes up with in the future.
