This Wine Château de Berne Emotion is a refreshing, every day rosé—perfect for a glass after work or relaxing outdoors with friends on the weekend. The grapes are sourced from Château de Berne’s 330 acres of vineyards as well as trusted growers with whom the estate has long-term relationships. The warm Mediterranean climate, vineyard altitudes of 820-1,082 feet and limestone and clay soils produce grapes that are concentrated while still retaining fresh, juicy acidity. After harvest, the Grenache Noir, Cinsault and Syrah grapes undergo
cold soak maceration for 2 to 3 hours, to produce the pale pink color for which Provence is world-famous. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 2 to 3 weeks before bottling.
This wine is the perfect light Provence pink, with fragrant aromas of raspberry, candied strawberries, red cherry and white flowers. A hint of sea breeze miner-ality on the nose carries through to the palate, where the wine is very balanced with a roundness and freshness from the Grenache. It is dry with refreshing flavors of pink grapefruit and watermelon on the finish.
