SO… I recently found a bunch a sherry in my posession. What is one to do with a bunch of sherry… make a few Bamboos!
This drink is perfect to have as an aperiti. An aleternative to the gin martini. the sherry with dry vermouth, then giving it a double dose of bitters.
The Bamboo
1½ oz. Lustau India East Sherry
1½ oz. dry vermouth
2 dashes orange bitters
Pour the ingredients in a tumbler of ice. Strain into a coupe and add a lemon peel.
Drink up XO.
