One of the original purveyors of Detroit-style pizza has expanded within New York City over the last year. I recently tried Jet’s Pizza‘s high-quality ingredients, daily fresh-made dough.
The Michigan-based company has been serving Detroit-style pizza since 1978. In the past five years alone, there has been a 63% increase in Detroit-style pizza on menus.
In addition to its famous Detroit-style pizzas, the menu at Jet’s also includes hand-tossed round, thin-crust, and NY-style pizzas, as well as seasoned cauliflower crusts and gluten-free crusts. Jet’s Pizza also offers six unique flavor crusts like Turbo Crust® (garlic, butter, & Romano cheese), cajun and sesame seed. They’re also known for their Jet’s Bread, Deli Boats, and award-winning Ranch dressing.
If you are wondering, I had the Super Special with tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, pepperoni, and mushrooms. I enjoyed all 4 corners of it.
