You know you have made it once you do something for 10 years! Edible Manhattan did just that. On March 22nd they hosted their 10th Annual Good Spirits event at the trendy Bowery hotel. It was a roaring time.
The evening focused on technology and innovation within the drink industry and will feature cocktails and bites from acclaimed local and international brands and mixologists. One of the major highlights was to have your photo taken in the traditional staple photobooth and to have it printed on a whisky sour. How freaking cool is that?
I enjoyed checking out some cool brands like Bulleit Bourbon, Ketel One, Coconut Cartel, Sipsmith, to name a few.
Neat vendors were a part of this event like Kelly + Jones, a perfume company that makes mezcal inspired fragrance. I got a kick out of this!
The best part of this experience was trying all the fancy cocktails from each brand. It was nearly impossible to drink each and every one of them. This was a wonderful way to try new drinks that you would never order at a bar and try new and upcoming brands.
