I was excited to be a part of VIP’s to the new upper west sided establishments, The Consulate. The night was decked out with oysters, cocktails and of course wine!

My guest and I were greeted and took in the ambiance.. The Consulate has a light and airy space features hanging plants, buttery leather booths with chic checkerboard flooring. Chic and modern.
The first thing we did was grab a drink at the bar. Oui, mademoiselle, was the drink of choice and was going over well with the crowd. The ingredients included blackberry puree, vodka, St. Germain, and rosemary. It was by far the best cocktail I’ve had all year.
During the night there were oysters on the tables while servers passed out food including burgers, truffle mushroom flatbread and more. Each item was delicious.
This restaurant is perfect for a romantic date night, birthday party or any other special occasion. I look forward to going back!
