Throwback to a simpler time, the day before I started quarantine myself to be exact. I tried some amazing Lucano cocktails with the Kobrand team at Lupa Osteria. Simply an amazing night.
From the yummy cheeses to the handmade pasta (take notice of the red one it’s spicy but delicious), it was an awesome dinner that featured the amazing spirit amaro, Lucano.
This spirit unlike others in its category goes straight down, not forced down. The first cocktail you see is a Sassi Sour with mint and Four Roses Bourbon.
I enjoyed listening to Brett Wilson discuss the history of Lucano and the great ways it is incorporated into cocktails — and of course taste it!
Throughout the night we had different variations of Lucano throughout the years alongside fried brussel sprouts and mushrooms… delish!
We ended the night with a budino and a lupa tartufo – simply marvelous – with limoncello.
Cheers to looking towards normalcy.
